"This was my first time dining in the 888 Chinese restaurant, and I was blown away! The Egg Roll was perfectly delicious, and other meals like Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken were incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. Every dish I ordered tasted delicious, and I have no complaints about any meals I order. There’s a great variety on the menu, so this place is highly recommended for everyone. Additionally, The employees were very friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even though they were busy. The restaurant was also very clean and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Before I write this review, I also noticed some people left a 1star rating, but they are honestly wrong. This restaurant absolutely deserves five stars. Outstanding food, great service, and excellent value. I’m so glad I tried it and I will definitely go there again! Overall, highly recommend restaurant for everyone who wants to eat Chinese food!"

From the moment the dishes hit the table, you could tell everything was prepared with care and tradition. The chicken was perfectly cooked — plump, juicy, and tender. The hot sauce had a beautiful balance of tangy heat with just a hint of sweetness that kept you coming back for another bite. It had that authentic flavor that warms you from the inside out. We also ordered the Taiwanese chicken noodles, and they were incredible. The aroma alone was mouthwatering — fresh vegetables, savory broth, and layers of texture in every bite. It was hearty, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The beef and broccoli was rich and delicious, with tender slices of beef and crisp, vibrant broccoli coated in a savory sauce that paired perfectly with the combo fried rice on the side. "They were so friendly and ATTENTIVE, it it’s one thing I hate about going to a restaurant is getting a drink and only one refill or none. They were on top of EVERYTHING. Great service, amazing food, huge portions and amazing prices. We got all of this for $47! That includes two sodas, an order of crab wontons, boneless ribs, and two lunch specials!"

"Decent meal at a decent price.. waitress was friendly. Fried rice was cold on both plates..my shrimp and veggies was very good. Hot and sour soup was a first for me..I liked it ok. I prefer the wonton. My friend did not like the sweet and sour chicken and said sauce was too thin.. we may go back and try something else since the prices are so good.. would definitely not get the egg roll again"

"First time trying this place today. Everything was really good. I ordered the triple delight clay bowl. Super hot and fresh. So hot it was burning my mouth! Wonderful spice and the vegetables were so good. I definitely want to return. I highly recommend this dish along with the plum wine that was amazing as well."

"888 Chinese has been in Baytown for some time now, and it is no doubt why. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The aroma as I walked in was very welcoming. Seating was quick for a Saturday night. The wait staff was very nice and patient as I have never eaten in this establishment before. Once I finally ordered the food was on my plate in 20 minutes. Incredible turn around for the taste and quality of the food. The price was more than affordable. I definitely left satisfied with the service and the food. Best advice incan give: be nice to the wait staff, and tip well. Unless the service is terrible, which is something in my exposure you won't experience at 888 Chinese. Happiness isn't an outside job, it's an inside job. Lucky Numbers: 28, 13, 19, 56, 10, 23 if that's your thing..."

"Full disclosure: I’ve only eaten here once. That being said, the food was good! I had the pepper steak, white rice, wonton soup. My wife had the orange chicken, white rice, & egg drop soup. We also shared the fried pork dumpling appetizer. We ordered off the lunch menu, the portions were generous. Food came out fresh & piping hot. Will definitely be returning!"

"Delicious! Clean restaurant. Hot and fresh food. Great service. We come here for dinner sometimes and every Christmas Day, I don’t like to cook Christmas dinner so it ends up our fun family tradition and easy on Mom. Food is plentiful, we always take some leftovers."
